Angry birds is a video game that was developed under Rivio entertainment. It was initially developed for use in Apple phones in December 2009. The games main idea is based on players using slingshots to launch at pigs stationed, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playing field, either to advance to the next level or win the game, given a certain amount of tries.Due to its success caused by a combination of addictive game play, comical style and low price, the game can now be found on touch based smartphones such as windows phones and Android.
To date due to its popularity, nearly 2million downloads have been made. Also special editions have been formulated such as Angry birds seasons, Angry birds Rio, Angry birds space, Angry birds star wars and Angry birds friends to mention just a few.
